The foundation generates its funding from individual and corporate donations as well as fund-raising activities throughout the year. The Grant Committee follows stringent policies and procedures to ensure that all funds are disbursed based on accomplishing the Mission of Fort Bend Cares. Since its origin, Fort Bend Cares has bestowed grants totaling approximately $720,000. We impact thousands of children through grants to charitable 501(c)(3) organizations that provide:

Grant Information
Fort Bend Cares will be accepting Grant Applications from December 1, 2011 through February 29, 2012. Grant Application Evaluations are in March/April.
The Board of Trustees reviews and approves the Grant Committee recommendations at the May Board of Trustees Meeting.
