Dr. Robert McClendon is a native Texan who has been a resident of Fort Bend County since 1981. He is a graduate of the University of Texas at Austin and the University of Texas Medical School at Houston.
He is an active member of Christ United Methodist Church where he has served on several boards.
Dr. McClendon and his wife Gail have been married for 25 years and have two college age children, Kristen and Blake.
Dr. McClendon's passion for giving back to the community led him to co-found Fort Bend Cares Foundation in 2004.
Jim Rice is President of the engineering firm Rice and Gardner and has been a resident of Fort Bend County since 1981. He is currently serving as a trustee on the FBISD School Board. Jim is very involved in numerous civic organizations, especially the Boy Scouts of America, where he has been presented some of their highest awards for adult leadership.
Jim is an active member of Christ United Methodist Church where he has been involved with youth ministries and has chaired the church building committee.
Jim is married to Mary Walker and is the father of three Eagle Scout sons. Through his involvement in the Fort Bend Leadership Forum and his awareness of the issues facing the citizens of his county, he was led to co-found Fort Bend Cares Foundation.
