Fort Bend Cares, a Charitable Foundation, was founded in 2004. The founders, long time residents of Fort Bend County, identified the growing needs of disadvantaged youth in the County.
It was recognized that there were many existing charitable organizations providing essential services to children and families. These organizations face increasing demands to raise the necessary funds to meet the needs of current and future programs. Fort Bend Cares was created to help provide supplemental funds for these worthy organizations.
Fort Bend Care’s mission is to raise funds and to award grants to those qualifying charitable 501(c)3 organizations with the greatest needs, and in so doing help “close the gap” for the youth of Fort Bend County.
