Serving Fort Bend County Youth with Integrity, Compassion and Dignity

FUNDING OPPORTUNITIES

The Fort Bend Cares Foundation will strive to be clear and consistent about its priorities for grant-making, but flexible in recognizing exceptions to the rule.  Funding opportunities exist in the following described areas:

Human Services

To support community-based programs providing children and youth the opportunity to participate in mentoring, community service, recreational and career activities.  To support programs that enhance the community's ability to protect children from abuse and neglect.

Medical/Health

To support primary health care programs and projects providing increased access to appropriate levels of care for economically disadvantaged children.

Education

To support programs, projects and teacher training that have a significant effect on improved academic performance and achievement.

Community Enhancement

To support programs where civic/capital improvements impact the greatest number of Fort Bend residents through collaborative efforts of the community at large, such as mentoring, health and well-being, education and recreational activities.
